Volunteers and Internship

Intern Zalema Kuedituka

My name is David Zalema Kuedituka. I was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.  I have been living in United States since July 1998. I have a degree of Bachelor of Science and Technology from University of Washington, and Associate of Math at Louis Pastor University in France.  I am very glad and fortunate to work with OkoNGO nonprofit organization, doing my internship to help my community and contribute for a right cause.  I came across OkoNGO when He first came to UW Bothell talking about the right of women in Congo where women and children are neglected. As a student from the Congo, I was drawn by Okongo vision and dedication of helping people to gain their right. Why not me?
My philosophy is by helping OkoNGO I am helping the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. I believe the situation in my country will change! Nevertheless, someone has to do something about it.

My belief, I am Christian. I have been serving at Temple of Grace Christian Fellowship church as Deacon for four years.  I am fluent in French, Lingala, Kikongo and English.
My future long-term project: I plan to pursue my Master and PHD in Public Health, in order to return to Congo to serve and help my community for the purpose that God has called me.
Hobbies:  I like listening gospel Music, playing Scrabbles, ping-pong and watching Movies.
